Client brief and objectives
The Big Plus is an established Scottish Government campaign aimed at helping adults with low literacy and numeracy skills.
This empowering programme for adults who struggle with literacy and numeracy needed a website to showcase what it had to offer in the way of help.
Our approach
We were asked to take on an existing site and bring it up to date, redevelop it in our own CMS and make it more dynamic and usable for people with low literacy skills. We tweaked the design to give it a more approachable feel within the restrictions of the Big Plus brand.
We took advertising video content and delivered it online adding the key call-to-action, to get in touch to the Homepage.
Results and effectiveness
The site strengthens the brand. It uses minimal text and video to reach more of the target audience, including video cases studies of people who have benefitted from The Big Plus' help.
We continue to work closely with the Big Plus adding value to their online presence and constantly improving visitor numbers.
